Tips for Realtors
We know you want everything to go as smooth as possible. Here are a few suggestions that will help you serve your clients in a professional manner. Make sure your contracts are legible and complete with buyers and sellers legal names. We need as much information as possible. Remember, sometimes our only contact with the seller/buyer is through you. It is essential that we have the seller's mortgage information on the property that they are selling (their lender, loan number, customer service number and social security number).

Some lenders due to the Patriot Act are now requiring written authorization to order payoffs. For your convenience, a link is provided for a copy of this authorization at bottom of page. Have your buyers provide us with their homeowners insurance as soon as possible. Lenders will not issue closing documents without insurance.

Our filing system is by the buyer's name, so please have this handy if you are calling our office. It takes away from our clients who are at the closing table, searching for files. There are less mistakes when interruptions are held to a minimum, so please be patient and provide us with as much information at one time to minimize mistakes.

Mail-away closings must be scheduled with our office. Please do not tell your clients we can mail their documents without contacting our office first.
